The Annual METL Conference dates and location have been scheduled. The conference will be on November 9 and 10, 2017. Columbia Public School District will host the conference in their district. Please check back for me details and official registration for the conference.
METL will be launching a new series of awards to recognize Missouri school technology leaders.
METL Rising Star Award - recognizes emerging technology leaders who exemplify devotion and success. This awared recognizes technology leaders who are new to the their leadership position with four year or less experience in position(s).
METL Innovative Award - recognizes individual leaders, districts, schools, departments, or teams who exemplify innovative and pioneering leadership. This award recognizes individuals or groups who have not only embodied forward-thinking, but have also initiated a ground-breaking new project or initiative in their district or region.
METL Career Achievement Award - recognizes school district technology leaders who have exemplified exceptional service and leadership in his/her district, region, or the State of Missouri throughout his/her career The Career Achievement Award recognizes technology leaders who embody the primary categories of CoSN’s Essential Skills of the K-12 CTO – leadership and vision, understanding the education environment, and managing technology and support resources.
METL CTO of the Year Award - recognizes District CTO’s/Technology Directors/Coorinators (CTO) who who have exemplified exceptional leadership in his/her district and region/State of Missouri. This award recognizes CTO’s who embody the primary categories of CoSN’s Essential Skills of the K-12 CTO – leadership and vision, understanding the education environment, and managing technology and support resources.
